Russian baseball has not always been very expectable, hardly predictable team is usually very tough to beat for each of its opponents. Annual presence of Russian national team in European tournaments is very competitive and appriciated among the other teams. In previous years Russia has brought home two silver and one bronze medal. An appearance in the finals is an ultimate goal.
